My name is Justin Murdock and I am a card-carrying FAA Part 107 Remote sUAS Pilot. I know all the laws and regulations for flying drones and I am commercially licensed to fly unmanned aircraft. In addition to filming cinematic footage with my 6K resolution drone camera, I use aerial photographs to create digital 3D models. The 3D models I create provide the most comprehensive understanding of an object or parcel of real estate. One of my favorite things to do is take my models and import them into Unreal Engine in order to create simulators - either a drone simulator or with ground vehicles. Real estate can then become the level inside a video game. Scanned vehicles can be drivable in that environment. Buildings can be moved around, vegetation and earth can be deleted or moved, and virtual cameras can be placed anywhere. The utility of a 3D model for planning purposes is seceond to none.
